I must admit, I am completely taken by Grace Livingston Hill's books. They are Christian romances written and set in the first half of the 20th century. They aren't for everyone, but I personally  find their simplicity endearing. I think this is the first time I have exceeded my goal of 50 books for the year. Go me.

The single most memorable movie I watched in 2008 was Protagonist, with The Visitor as a close second.
